Alec Derrig

Manager of Accounting and Finance

Alec Derrig is the Manager of Accounting and Finance at Kaulig Capital, with responsibilities that include financial reporting and financial planning.

Prior to joining Kaulig Capital, Alec was a tax associate at Apple Growth Partners, a regional CPA firm headquartered in Northeast Ohio. While there, Alec worked with private companies and individuals while also passing exam requirements to become a certified public accountant (CPA).

Alec graduated from Kent State University in 2019 with majors in Accounting and Finance and minors in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. He is involved with several charities including the Paul & Jane Martin Foundation.

Alec lives in Akron with his wife, Chloe. In his free time, he enjoys watching Cleveland sports, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
