LeafFilter™ was born in the basement of Matt Kaulig in 2005 and grew to be the nation’s largest gutter protection solutions company. In September 2016, LeafFilter closed an investment transaction with Gridiron Capital enabling the already fast-growing gutter protection company to “supercharge” its growth. Gridiron was originally introduced to Matt Kaulig and the Company through Tim Clepper and other trusted advisors. This introduction and the successes that followed remain as the foundation of Kaulig Capital’s belief that relationships drive business.
In 2019, the Company and Gridiron launched Leaf Home Safety Solutions™, a direct-to-consumer business that transforms homes into safe and stylish environments through high-quality accessibility solutions, such as walk-in tubs and high-quality stair lifts. Together, Leaf Home Safety Solutions™ and LeafFilter™ were reorganized under parent company, Leaf Home™.
Leaf continues to take over the home safety market, serving customers throughout the United States and Canada from 100+ customer delivery centers. In early 2021, Leaf announced three successful residential direct-to-consumer businesses under its Leaf Home Enhancements subsidiary – Thiel’s Home Solutions, Storm Tight Windows and Miracle Windows & Showers.
While Leaf Home maintains its market dominance as a direct-to-consumer solutions provider, the Company’s growth is propelled by its “Today Not Tomorrow” culture, proprietary data-driven platforms and tech-enabled capabilities for marketing, customer service, field services, and talent management.
